This character is considered a 'mascot' character because the entire face is covered. All mascot characters will be sent with a "handler".  The handler is there for a few different reasons:

1. First and foremost, we want to make sure that your guests and our actor are protected from injury.  Mascots can only see about 30-45 degrees directly in of them and can't see what's right beneath or behind them.  We wouldn't want a mascot to step on a child or injure themselves by tripping or falling.  All characters with limited sightlines with another actor to make sure to keep everyone safe.  

2. It can be difficult for speaking masked characters to project their voice loudly enough for all guests to understand/hear him and to run herd on kids during games.  We lean HEAVILY on active play, and we want to make sure that the activities run smoothly.  Our handlers can help him reign in rouge children and shout out instructions to larger groups of kids.
